EMERGENCY Call to PRAYER for INDIA!
We were horrified to hear of the Tsunami (a big earthquake under the ocean floor causing a huge tidal wave) that hit India and many other countries in the Indian Ocean. This disaster has thus far caused over 60,000 casualties. We are calling everyone to pray and fast, if so called, for the people hurt and displaced in this disaster.
We need you to pray for the Christians and people in India, Sri Lanka and vicinity:
-
Pray for their safety and they are powerfully used by God.
-
Pray they are used to proclaim our Lord's Name and Salvation.
-
Pray their faithful preaching goes unhindered!
-
Pray that the people will hear God's most precious message of grace with open ears and a Spirit filled heart!
-
Pray that the Spirit spreads powerfully and unhindered!
-
Pray that the Word is preached and received because of this event for His glory!
-
Pray the Christians are used to help people realize their need for Him and our trust in material things and our daily lives is fleeting.
-
Pray the "anti Christian" groups such as the (RSS) be bound from harming the Christians and Ministries seeking to bring help and Christ there.
-
Pray that opportunities are seen and taken!
-
Pray they receive the resources and materials they need!
Into Thy Word has worked heavily in India for many years, we have concentrated mostly in Andhra Pradesh where the disaster has hit hard. We have been unable to get a hold of our people there. We believe they are OK, because our office there is more inland, just the communication lines are down or overloaded.
If you feel led to contribute, please make a donation on to our "pay pal" account or send in a check or money order and put "India" in the memo and we will give those funds to the organizations we work with there.
If you want to send money directly to the bank or to any of those ministries specifically, let me know by email and I will forward that information to you.
May we ask that you consider a donation? Click here to Donate!
Blessings
